REVIEW PROCESS

The publication of articles in JIPM: Journal of Mathematics Learning Innovation relies on validity and coherence assessed by our team of editors and reviewers. The intended assessment includes the feasibility and usefulness of writing in the scientific field of mathematics education. The review process in JIPM: Journal of Mathematics Learning Innovation begins with checking the accuracy of writing articles according to the template and meeting the requirements of the Author Guidelines that have been set. The checking process is carried out by the Board of Editors or the Editorial Board whose duty is to carefully check and ensure that the article has met the assessment criteria according to the template and Author Guidelines. The next stage, the editors provide the assessment results by filling out the assessment result form, then the editors have to resend the article according to the results of the review from the Board of Editors or the Editorial Board to the author if the article still does not meet the assessment criteria in this journal. The author is asked to receive as well as revise the article based on the results of the assessment given by the Board of Editors or the Editorial Board.

In the process of reviewing by the Editorial Team, a study is also carried out concerning with examining the similarities using Turnitin. If the articles have met the requirements of the review process by the editor team, then the review process by reviewers will be carried out. Editors are in charge of sending articles electronically to reviewers, both internal and external reviewers.

The next stage is carried out after the review process from the reviewer has been completed. The editors decide which articles are proper to be published by considering the results of the initial review from the editor team, the validity of the article from the results of reviewers, the usefulness and contribution of articles in the scientific development of mathematics and mathematics education globally both for researchers, academics, practitioners, and other parties who read the article. The final stage of the review process are accepted and copyediting, as well as publication.
