Analisis Kecemasan Siswa SMP Berkemampuan Matematika Rendah dalam Menyelesaikan Soal SPLDV
Abstract
This research aims to describe the mathematics anxiety of low-ability students in solving systems of two-variable linear equations (SPLDV). This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of this research were class VIII B students who had low mathematics abilities. The place of this research is at SMPN 1 Galis. The instruments of this research are the mathematics ability test (TKM), SPLDV problem solving test (TPSS), interview guide. Data collection techniques are TPSS 1, TPSS 2, interviews. The triangulation used in this research is time triangulation. The results of this study were that subjects with low mathematics ability met the indicators of mathematics anxiety, namely self-ability, self-confidence, difficulty concentrating, fear of failure, nervousness, dissatisfaction, restlessness, cold sweats, palpitations, headaches.
